I am a new customer. Why am I being charged for 2 months of service at one time?

Unlike a utility where your monthly charge is based on usage and thus calculated at the end of your billing period, Blue Ridge charges a standard monthly rate for your service which is due at the beginning of your billing cycle.  Because of this you do not receive a bill the first month you are installed, however you will the second month.  That statement is then prorated to include last month and the current month’s worth of service plus any install and or equipment charges.
